Ramblings

I could very well have my digicam in my greedy little hands as we speak, but the campus mail room is closed today for the holiday- I’m such a horrible American. I had to stand at the locked doors trying to think of why everything on campus would be closed before one in the afternoon on a Monday afternoon for a few moments before I realized that tomorrow is July fourth. You become very isolated on a college campus; last year, I didn’t realize how close the winter holidays were until I was on the bus home and the radio was playing Christmas carols for FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT.

Well, in any case, here I am, digicamless with another wordy post when I promised I would never make another one in my entire life. Luckily this one won’t be very long as I’m having difficulty thinking of things to blab about. I suppose I’ll leave pictures of what I’m working on and what I have in store. Yes, that sounds good.

CURRENT PROJECTS
1. Alison's HiP scarf

2. The Cathay Shrug (a.k.a Cathy), from the summer 2005 issue of Interweave Knits.

UPCOMING
1. Jaywalker, out of Opal Handpainted, from the fabulous Grumperina

2. What I'm calling the Muskat scarf, since I think that sounds much better than "Lacy Kerchief Scarf", from the summer 2005 issue of Interweave Knits

Well, that's about it. Happy July fourth to my fellow Americans, and I hope everyone, as usual, is staying cool and safe :)
