Can I say that I just love Inox/Prym Aluminum Circulars?? They're less than $10, but they're just as good as, if not better, than Addi Turbos. The aluminum doesn't become hot and sticky with extended summer knitting sessions, the points are- well, pointy, and the join never, ever catches. This is love, I tell you, love- no longer do I have to stick to those shiny Turbos! Ha ha! Freedom! I have a CHOICE! And I choose Inox!

Ahem. Anyhow- I bet that now that I have my digicam, you want to see pictures of Big Bad Blue, don't you? Right. Here goes then:

At the moment it has a few extra rows of ribbing around the edges, but it pretty much looks the same. Big. Blue. And Bad.

Unfortunately, there isn't too much to see at the moment since I haven't figured out how to make pictures of a plain stockinette project knit in dark yarn look interesting. Heh.

Un-knitting wise, I've had a very good couple of days. On the Fourth, Tee and I met up with a high school friend of mine plus some of her friends to see the fireworks show in Boston. There was some confusion as to where my friend's friends had actually reserved spots, but in the end, we just plunked down in some empty spaces, and completely lucked out- the fireworks fell right in front of us, dead center. They were so close, for a moment I was actually afraid the sparks were going to land on our faces, and I've never in my life heard anything that loud. I'm telling you, you've never seen fireworks until you've seen them in Boston. But of course, because I didn't get my digicam until yesterday, I have no pictures to show you. None. Oh well, next year maybe.

Stay cool ;)
